CI Plus Specification v1.4.4

The CI Plus Specification v1.4.x provides the description of a CI Plus LLP implementation based on the TS 103 205, Bluebook A173-2 and CI Plus 1.3 specification, pulling together those specifications and specifying what parts need to be implemented in order to realise a device compliant with CI Plus LLP. This specification is intended to be used in combination with the appropriate certification process, and subject to conformance by the manufacturers to the CI Plus Compliance and Robustness Rules. The CI Plus Specification v1.4.4 updates CI Plus Specification v1.4.3, introducing the support for Operator Profile V3 (as mandatory) and support for Overt Watermarking (as optional)

CI Plus ECP Specification v1.3

The ILA Addendum for ECP introduces enhanced security protection measures, designed to meet the security standards for content requiring Enhanced Content Protection (ECP). The CI Plus ECP Specification v1.3 specification builds upon the CI Plus 1.4 specification to define the requirements for a device suitable for receiving such content. This specification is intended to be used in combination with the appropriate certification process, and subject to conformance by the manufacturers to the ILA Addendum for ECP.

CI Plus Specification v2.0.2

This specification provides the description of a CI Plus LLP implementation for a device supporting the USB form factor, profiles the TS 103 605 specification, and specifies the form factor(s) (PCMCIA or USB) that such a CI Plus LLP compliant device can support. The CI Plus Specification v2.0.2 updates CI Plus Specification v2.0.1, introducing the support for Operator Profile V3 (as mandatory) and support for Overt Watermarking (as optional).

CI Plus Specification v1.3.2

The DVB Common Interface specifications CENELEC EN 50221 and ETSI TS 101 699 describe a system whereby a removable Conditional Access CICAM, given the appropriate rights, unscrambles protected content and routes it back to the Host over the same interface. The DVB Common Interface specifications were extended by the CI Plus specification v1.3.2, developed by CI Plus LLP, which provides common methods (i.e. methods that are independent of the up-stream CA system) for mutual authentication of the CICAM and Host, and link encryption over the return interface from the CICAM to the Host. TS 103205 specifies extensions to the CI Plus V1.3.2 specification.

CI Plus Supplementary Specification v1.5

This document is intended to Service Operators making use of the CI Plus technology and intending to enforce revocation on their network. The document provides guidance on how to constitute a revocation carousel and how to signal it, making use of predefined CI Plus descriptors that can be imported in operator’s network (SI) signalling.
